Gee I wonder why they only made 250 ::) ::) ::)
It would have been the perfect car for Tattoo from Fantasy Island

If he had to drive it he'd be yelling
"Da pain! Da pain!" :Muttley:
An ugly-mobile, fer shure.
Truly for the person who has more money then class. :pan:
I remember seeing them in magasines when they were new. They looked no better then than they do now. Totally grotesque, or even cartoonish.
Truly a ride for the Nouveau Riche
Mike
It needs a set of bull horns on the front and big chrome air horns on the roof.
What say you Denrep? Perhaps side pipes too?
GJ
I saw one up close and personal. It was for sale. The body panels just didnt seem to fit right. Not up to Cadillac standards.

And a landau bar on the C pillar? And, uh, Superfly headlights too. :Muttley:
It looks to me like a section was cut out of the middle of the body, and the front doors/cowl assy was moved back. Then they took the stub frame and extended it forward to hold the front suspension, but did not alter the cowl to engine dimensions.
Once that was done, they bolted the front section of the body to the nose of the stub frame, then fabricated sheet metal to fill the gap.
I'd like to look at one of these "creations" from underneath. That would reveal the really dirty bits.

Stock versus custom
I bet those spares actually perform a function, to hide the nasty joints to the OEM front fenders.
Mike
Never thought of that, Mike.
The smart money says you're right.
A look see under the car would reveal all. No small wonder there are no chassis shots. I bet it's a mess as well.
Mike
Amazingly it sold for nearly $11k
With 23 bids from 10 bidders. :scratchhead: :screwy:

The mind boggles........ :dumb:
As Fins would say.....there's an ass for every seat!
It takes all kinds to make the world go 'round. I can only agree with everyone's posts. I'm lost for words.
