I wonder just how many are out there.    A car in very nice condition is always worth more than the seller with a 3 picture ad. Figuring Chris is a pretty stand up guy, I'm sure his car is a very nice car.

I hate to say it, but admit it. You're bored of the car, you don't drive it and you'd rather have the garage room. Nothing wrong in that.

You're selling yourself short, I think. I haven't been following the market at all lately. Mainly because I'm neither a buyer or a seller. Little things on these cars can set you back quite a bit if they're not working at purchase. A/C, right off the top is $2000, a new top is $5000 with a glass window, tires, $1200.

Look at what you have before you condemn it. If $17k is your thoughts, I'll come get it when the weather breaks. I don't know where I'll put it, but I can hide it from the wife for a while.  I had to cut the wall out to get my Eldorado in the garage. That '70 is much longer. I'll have to build a shelving unit in the guest bedroom just to accommodate the nose of it.

That glass is worth its weight in gold, OK, maybe silver.  There are 2 companies out there making new glass. One is hit and miss, their glass most of the time is 1/2 inch too wide and will crack if you try to force it into the channel. The other company is in Europe and shipped here. I think 800 for the glass, but it is a perfect fit.
