secondary safety hood latch

Looking for the hood safety catch latch that bolts on with two bolts, in front of the hood locking plate, just above the top of the grille for my 1949 sedannette.

Mario,  you may want to contact Jay Friedman.  He's the foremost authority on '49 Cads.  He wrote the restoration manual for the CLC.

Anyway, he's a really nice guy and might have spare parts or know somebody that does.  jaysfriedman@yahoo.com  He live down the road from me and has also been helping the Pope with his new Model T (Jay's an expert on those, too).
