1976 Fleetwood Talisman Brougham 500 cu.in. F.I. engine that has been
carbureted. I still have the complete original Fuelie set up, but
couldn't shop couldn't diagnose the root of an idle problem. They
fiddled with it for a couple months before I decided to put a carb on
it so I could drive it. 82,829 ORIGINAL miles on it, I am the ORIGINAL
owners Grandson. It has about 6,000 mi on the engine and trans,
rebuilt at A&A Auto in Brentwood. Everything works but the clock;
power EVERYTHING, FREEZING COLD A/C, 6 way Crushed Velour pwr front
bucket seats, center console w/writing station, footrests in the back,
auto trunk closer w/remote open button, original jack, wheel chock and
cover, original Owners Manual, padded Limo top w/Opera Lights,
automatic headlight dimmer w/twilight sentinel, the EPITOME of
American Opulence!

Killin' me Gary....

No time for cars now. Other things which will bring in the money for cars, is first and foremost.

And at $4500, it has to be really rough, or the guy has no idea what he has.   :screwy:

It's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it's damned near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.

I'm not sure I understand the point to what you're saying here.   :scratchhead:  This one in the link seems to be well represented, and in the correct price range. The CL car would have to be seen up close and personal.

CraigsList

Creepylist too..

  We're getting lots of people beat over the head down here when they go to buy or be the seller for stuff on Craigs List. Never, never, ever meet or bring someone to your house or theirs. I like a nice big public parking lot or business setting.

I remember when I was selling the Eldorado, I had 2 people insist that they would come to my house to see the car.     BJ's parking lot, or you no see. They want to find out where you are and steal it later.

Had a couple parts listed on CraigsList and a guy told me he wanted to come over and check out 'everything you got'.

Ueah right.

How about you give me a list and we'll meet in a parking lot nearby.

Guess that wasn't how he wanted to play the game, never heard back from him.

Talked to someone tonight who knows the owner; very nice car; condition belies the fact it has 95k miles.
If it doesn't sell by then, will likely be here for an auction in April.
