Not me. I don't even have a tape to put in it.

My Mom was trying to shove a newspaper article down my throat about converting vinyl, to CD. I kept trying to tell her I had no vinyl. But she wouldn't listen.   :hammer:

I only bought 2 albums in my whole life.   ::)

About the same for me with regards to buying albums, new.

Picked many up from the curb but the biggest yield was a garage sale on a rainy day.  After spending quite a while selecting which albums I wanted for $ .75 each, the proprietor offered 'all of them' for $20.  Filled the front seat, back seat, entire floor and trunk of 442.  At that, gave at least half away to friends.

My current album collection numbers......."0".

No turntable either. I have found some RCA recordings of Virgil Fox from the 1930's to the 70's I'd like to have. $$$$$$$$$

I still have all the vinyl I bought as a teenager and into my 20's before CD's tool over. Probably a few hundred. I have to count them sometime. I bought a lot whan they were going out. I'd by maybe as much as 10 at a time when they were being blown out for $3 each.

I have a great big cabinet full of vinyl.
I probably bought over 300 albums before they were phased out.
I still look through used record stores and garage sales for what I don't have.
Used vinyl in good shape is going for a pretty penny now. People are starting to realize that vinyl is much superior than digital recordings.
I'll never give mine up. I still have lots of 8 tracks as well.

Looks like the one Outlaw has in his '68. Not the right style for the '70 :(

I don't have as many as I'd like. Didn't have money to spend, plus I bought cassettes for the car in many cases.

Most of the LPs and 45s I got form my mother. Mostly stuff form the 60s and 70s.
Not valuable and not in great shape (dirt and scratches).

They are better than digital when properly made, cared for, and played back. But easily damaged.

Oh, vinyl is not dead either. Just a few years ago there were new albums put out by several bands.
Problem is, most of the recording/mastering equipment is digital now.

I have some albums that are valuable but they are more valuable to me than anything I'd let them go for.
I have restored some of my albums. Dirt isn't an issue, a friend of mine built his own cleaning machine with a vacuum cleaner and other various parts.
For mildly dirty records, a velor brush sprayed with rubbing alcohol will clean it right up. Just don't do it very often as it will soften the vinyl.

Don't know off the top of my head; I've never owned a '70.

You might check the MCLC Docs section; there's a Delco Radio application guide with part numbers.

Of you could ask a 70 expert - Thomas?  Mobo Tech Advisor?

This auction claims '69-'73 is the same.

The crags list item include the harness (a plus) as well as a more realistic proice, but not as pretty.

This would be handy to go with one though.

The first year for the integral AM/FM 8-Track, was it not '71?

Thanks for all the help, I emailed the guy on Craig's list and I offered him 50.00 and he's stuck on 80.00 a good one will come up at a decent price if I wanted one ASAP then I would pay the price, but a 8-track isn't going to make the car run any better.
