A guy at work asked me about '59s today, so I glanced at eBay.
I though this one was a bit overpriced given the current economy

But this one looked interesting

That limo looks real good.
That Limo would be one of my all time favourites ,maybe one day the planets will align .
( not a great fan of that green though ) ,

Both cars are exceptional examples. While both turn me on tremendously, I'd have to have the convertible for just me. The Limo has the WOW factor, but damned uncomfortable to drive. But at least he's reasonable in his asking, and it's being actively bid on. The Eldorado is going to sit there at that price.
Had he started the auction with a reserve at say $50K, he might see what interest the car draws.
Wish they'd left the Eldo its original Argyle Blue Metallic (Code 94) with Black Top (Code 2) with Blue Metallic Cardiff & Florentine Leather interior (Code 13).
It would be much more striking than the ordinary white with red it was changed to during resto. Sort of like the red Mustang or Corvette thing, 'everyone' paints their Biarritz that color.

Never the less, it is gorgeous :yeah baby: and as long as the price remains less than $175k or so, that's the 'going rate' for a 59 Britz these days.
I'm kinda looking for a 63 Limo, but who the hell wants to drive it? I want to ride in the back. Thats whats its about.
