Those wheels just make it a stunner, but no thanks for 150 large.

Even considering a premioum value for a car like this in NZ, it still seems to be priced at least double the actual value.

If the seller invested as much as he states, he's an idiot.  Should have bought an Eldo to begin with.

The wheels would be the first thing removed.

I echo CF.

The car itself is a stunner though. If I had the facilities, I could do that to mine. But in the meantime, I can still hop in and ride anywhere in her.

He'll never get that sort of money for it, or anywhere close. It'll just sit there for months and months and months like most of the rest on there at the moment. Nobody's buying anything it seems.

That fake Talisman that's near me is still there - he started at $39,500, then 35, 32, 28, 27, now 22.

Doesn't bode well for my car, but 22 is getting close to where I'd meet the market for my car to get it.

Nicely done 59.I'm with fins .Give me half of that money and I can produce a car that nice or better. The price to restore 1950's Cadillacs is off the charts.$12,000 for chrome on some of the cars.I have restored a 1960 Cadillac series 62 convertible which I did 25 years ago.I'm still working on my 59 series 62.I finished the body work and shot it at this time last year. The paint alone was $600.00.I like working on the car .I have worked on old cars since I was a kid.I would suggest to anyone who wants to enjoy a 1950's or 60's Cadillac buy a car restored.Fix what breaks.

That's good advice for those who don't want the enjoyment of a project.

Thats almost all of the fun for me.  If I had the cash to buy a finished car, I'd probably be tearing into it anyways.

I don't know what I would do if I couldn't at least tinker and fix in the ultimate quest to get everything working as it should on these cars. And then have that feeling of satisfaction whan you get something fixed.
