Keeper,
Just curious.  Why would you like the '67-'68 better than the '65-'66 Cadillacs?  They look so much alike.

I prefer the '65-'66 because the '67-'68 went to the plastic "modern" interior.  Although I guess the 472
engine might make up for that somewhat..................... :chin:

I like the move from a vertical front to the forward-angled look on the 67-68s.

It wouldn't take much to do that to a '65-'66.  I may try it if I feel funky.  A little cutting and welding is all.   :welder:
I bet you wouldn't have to add but about an inch at the top to get the slant.

I'm following a Kustom build on a '65 Buick Riviera in a magizine.  They kinda did the same thing to the headlights on it.
They extended them out about 4-6 inches or so.  It looks pretty cool.

Ez,You are right 67 was the first New Car era and then  68 US Gov got involved as well
as what GM call "Value Engineering" and of course by 72 no real autos were ever made
again.66 is the last year of the Old cars. How bad it got even in 68 they saved about a
dollar per car when they cut the o-rings out of the CV joint boot to save money. They
Changed up the taillight assembly from 67 to 68/9 and then in 70 was just a stinkin
lens,Everything really went downhill after that.

In my opinion of course.
