1956 Cadillac Carter carburetor needed

I am looking for a donor carburetor for my Carter on the 1956 Cadillac. The one I have has worn off the walls of the risers from the ports so that my air cleaner will no longer set secure on the carb. Basically, I just need the top half of the carb.
Thanks,
Chuck

Thanks for the tip! I have also just been told that there are no less than 13 different carbs used on a 1956 Cadillac so I need to be more specific about which particular one mine happens to have. Nothing is very simple except me, I'm told. Is that a compliment?

Actually by reviewing the criteria, it narrows down the possibilities.

Now. Do you see what happens when you hang around the 'right' board. You get the info that you need instead of a bunch of 'views', like at the MoBo.

Yes I see it. Disappointing as that is. Where is the old "for one and all"?
Thanks YOU folks for your help!

EZ

For one and for all usually gets trumped by somebody's personal agenda.  There's lots of times here at work I find myself being the only "team player".  It makes you not want to be so willing to help people after a while.   :banghead:
