Never gave these a second look before.Stumbled on this Giant in Pompano close by for sale.
Its a 73 so I am not sure how much change on Mopar from prior years.Electronic ignition?
Points/Emissions?Fins it really is a Big car!I have a close up of the for sale sign with the guys
number...I guess I could be some fun...

Looks either lowered or sagged. The "fuselage" body I think they were called, for obvious reasons. I do like 'em. I'd assume a '73 would have electronic ignition as AU/NZ Mopars had it by then.

A good beater to drive about. Likely running a 360, I think the last year the 383/400 was standard was '72. And yes, it will have electronic ignition, '73 was the first year.

These cars were huge. And at one time they seemed to be everywhere. They were a good bang for the buck in the day.

Fins

A perfect winter beater for our northern brethren. Heavy, RWD, definitely a gas hog. But for $500 it would pass. More than that and the guy is dreaming.

It's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it's damned near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.

The rock in front of the rear wheel tells me it has some issues.

Good for a beater, yea. Economical? anything but.

With either a 360 or a 400 fuel economy would be reduced to an interesting concept.

With either engine you would have to have a tanker following you everywhere.
An Abrams M1 would get better fuel economy.

The 440 is actually better.
