Fins, you know 22k these days , is not that much for a car anymore, I think that 18k or 20k is not out of the question, start at 22k and work your way down, if you write a the RIGHT description on EBay I think you can get over 20k ,I always end up selling my cars on EBay I always get more than I ask, when I try to sell it locally or thru a club I get tire kickers and joy riders.

Ueah, what Joe said.

If you ask too low, people will think its a POS.

From my experience, international buyers will look favorably on S/P with the rebuilt engine, trans, aftermarket A/C, new radiator, etc.  They can more easily have a vehicle painted and reupholster the interior then finding parts and having mechanical work performed.  Plus she's an overall very solid car - all the better then a rusty turd which has been botched and buggered.
Enjoy life - it has an expiration date.

Price is adjusted in all posts. Even those by others to reflect the asking price.

That's why you will see my name in the post edits.

I know it's a coupe, but food for thought. And I've seen this thing in the metal, too. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to say S/P is friggin' light years ahead, I'm sure.

His asking price works out to USD$40K

I know the last NZer you dealt with turned out to be a shitpot, but don't let that put you off.

Light years? I would say to Alpha Centuri and back.   :yikes:

How did a shit box like that get registered? The owner must be a Maori.   :Muttley:

If the owner's a Maori, then there's a stolen '59 CDV knocking about. O0

I don't know how far Alpha Centauri is, but I'd say it'd only be the first leg of the trip...........

If any of this makes sense to you, you have no business here.   :confused2:

Location of Alpha Centauri in CentaurusAlpha Centauri (α Centauri, α Cen; also known as Rigil Kentaurus, Rigil Kent  /ˈraɪdʒəl/, or Toliman) is the brightest star in the southern constellation of Centaurus. Although it appears to the unaided eye as a single object, Alpha Centauri is actually a binary star system (designated Alpha Centauri AB or α Cen AB) whose combined visual magnitude of -0.27 would qualify it as the third single brightest star in the night sky after -0.72 magnitude Canopus and −1.46 magnitude Sirius.

Its individual component stars are named Alpha Centauri A (α Cen A), with 110% of the mass and 151.9% the luminosity of our Sun, and Alpha Centauri B (α Cen B), at 90.7% of the Sun's mass and 50.0% of its luminosity. During the stars' 79.91 year orbit about a common center, the distance between them varies from about that between Pluto and the Sun to that between Saturn and the Sun. They average 1.34 parsecs or 4.37 light years away from the Sun.[10]

A third star, known as Proxima Centauri, Proxima or Alpha Centauri C (α Cen C), is probably gravitationally associated with Alpha Centauri AB. Proxima is now placed at the slightly smaller distance of 1.29 parsecs or 4.24 light years from the Sun, making it the closest star to the Sun, even though it is not visible to the naked eye. The true separation of Proxima from Alpha Centauri AB is about 0.06 parsecs, 0.2 light years or 13,000 astronomical units (AU), equivalent to 400 times the size of Neptune's orbit.

Ueah, but I beat them to it. The scary part is, it would be a normal conversation to them.

I guess I should have added, 'distance from Earth' into the search. But it's after 3 am and I've had a few, and worked all night. So right now, the pillow has my name written all over it.   :sleepy:
